New owner Terri Peters holds burning incense while conducting a traditional Cambodian blessing of La Fleur Plumeria Nail Salon at Dolphin Plaza in Kihei Friday morning. She said the type of blessing is held when a shop is opened or for a house warming. “We always celebrate by putting out all the traditional foods,” Peters said. “We believe our culture will bless us for doing this.” Taking part are Chanthy Kak (right) and Sok Touch.
